Access to microdata from the ECB and national central banks

Researchers can request access to microdata from the ECB and several national central banks (NCBs).

Below we provide an overview of research data services within the European System of Central Banks (that is, the ECB and all central banks in the EU), the datasets that are available and how to access them.

The datasets are grouped into the following seven categories: financial institutions data, non-financial institutions data, credit and loan data, securities and financial market data, company finance and business surveys, household finance surveys, and banking supervisory data.

Several research data centres provide detailed information on individual datasets. A consolidated catalogue of all these datasets is available at the bottom of this page.
