Towards the banking Union. Opportunities and challenges for statistics

Frankfurt am Main, 15 October 2014

The series of biennial conferences on statistics held by the ECB provides an important forum for the exchange of views on requirements, opportunities and challenges for statistics for central bank policy-making.

The 2014 conference will bring together users and compilers of statistics from central banks, supervisory authorities, national statistical institutes, international institutions, academia, the media and the financial industry. The focus of the conference will be on issues related to the statistical preparation for the Single Supervisory Mechanism.
