Launched for the first time in 2014, with the idea of creating a platform for discussing statistics methodology, results, challenges and best practices between the producers of European statistics, researchers, as users and other stakeholders, the CESS 2018 continues to offer the opportunity for networking and interacting among stakeholders of European Statistics from science, academia, statistical producers and societal groups. Its aim is to share recent developments and innovative solutions for reflecting and explaining complex economic and social phenomena with European statistics and to discuss challenges associated with their production and use. The Conference will be organised according to three thematic blocks - Statistics, Science and Society.
